Become a member

All the individuals or institutions interested in numismatics and history of coins may now become members of our society. The new statutes provide for the existence of both full and associate members. The earlier must submit a scientific curriculum with the application form, while this is not necessary for the latter.

Becoming a SCEN member costs 60€ per year (30€ if you are 25 or under) and allows you to:

 

1) Be part of, collaborate and promote the study of numismatic in catalan

2) Attend and participate in the entity’s assemblies

3) Receive Acta Numismàtica magazine for free

4) Receive free of charge, or at a very low price, other books published by SCEN during the year

5) Have access to periodical sales campaigns of publications at a greatly reduced price

6) Enjoy a 30% discount on all SCEN publications

7) Enjoy discounts of up to 50% on other publications of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans

8) Acquire, exclusively and by subscription, medal editions

9) Stay up to date with the latest research

10) Stay up to date with the publications, presentations and collaborations of our associates

11) Receive information about conferences, talks, exhibitions… organized by SCEN

12) Receive the membership card of the SCEN, which gives free consultation access to the Library of Catalonia’s collection

13) Enjoy dissemination of published work and participation in events through SCEN’s social networks

14) Be informed of the activities scheduled by IEC

 

Applications of new members will need the approval of the General Assembly.
